About Us

 

ASAP was established by Suzanne Stirland in 1997 following the death of her employer and subsequent closure of the accounting practice where she had been employed since leaving school.

​

Pam Armstrong was a work colleague for some three years prior to the closure and she joined Suzanne in her venture as her employee, assistant and close friend, all of which was put to the test when three months into the new business Suzanne announced she was expecting twins!

​

After a short period of maternity leave Suzanne was soon back at the helm and business gradually increased over the next ten years.

By 2009 our client base had increased to such an extent that larger premises were required and in July that year we moved to a larger office at Alsaka Building, sadly no longer standing.

​

We embarked on a merger and changed our name to Griffin Accountants Ltd, we moved to our current office in Devonshire Street, however this did not work out as planned and we dissolved the merger and changed our name back to ASAP.

​

We pride ourselves in being a friendly, approachable but efficient team and feel able to call many of our clients friends.
